Don't look at me - I haven't seen the movie to go with the "I Drink Your Milkshake" icon, but KS suggested I make it anyway. XD; The second set of icons is from our May East Oahu Sun strip, in anticipation of today's release of Iron Man. It was such a compelling idea, I had to draw it. ^__^

So Kawaii Kon 2008 has come and gone - I have my preliminary report up at the nemu*nemu blog! KS has come down with a cold/allergy attack of sorts while I'm just trying to stay hydrated and catch up with all my missed business.
So sorry I missed posting our Friday strip - as we were at the convention center from early that morning. Last minute tasks and sleep were a little more important at the time. ^_^;
It's been a whirlwind month for us - and it shows no signs of slowing anytime soon! ^_^;;

Thanks everyone for your kind message in the my last post~! I'm feeling a lot better, albeit rather stiff in the neck and shoulders - probably from tensing up in the chair for 2 1/2 hours. X_X; Acetaminophen's helping out quite a bit, once it kicks in.
My schedule was sort of thrown off this weekend as I needed to properly rest and recover, then spent most of my Sunday cleaning the living area/studio space. We have a lot more space to properly move about, everything is neatly organized or put away in storage/tossed out. It's a nice feeling to be in clean surroundings after months and months of mess. ^_^; (We also need to space to prep stuff for our upcoming events - Kawaii Kon and JCCH's Kodomo no Hi)But alas, I have SO much stuff to do when I wake up - er... today. I hope I can get everything done... *__*;
News: The nemu*nemu shop is fully updated with all our new convention goodies. Purchases will be filled on a first come-first served basis. If we sell out of any of our new merchandise at the cons, we will be doing a second printing for Fanime... Likewise, if you are attending Fanime and are interested in items, please let me know BEFORE APRIL 30 so I can make sure we will have those items in stock for you - to save on shipping yaddayaddayadda.
All T-shirts from last year (circa 2007 designs) are very limited in quantity and will not be reprinted, I suggest you pick it up ASAP if you're interested!

In hopes of surviving the "lean" times between conventions, I will be selling original nemu*nemu art on our website! This is a great chance for me to stretch my drawing muscles (outside of doodling strips all day) and keep our studio tidy, while you have a great opportunity to help support nemu*nemu and get something unique out of it!

Today really felt like a Saturday~ KS called in sick (he was) and stayed home today. Because we had the opportunity to do so, we hit the t-shirt warehouses to start gearing up for our next set of designs.
Man - I am SO happy I have a haircut appointment tomorrow... I seriously need a hair cut. Can't wait! TT!
